TWO local female clubs came together to play a special match to raise money for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
Rugby Town Ladies travelled to play Oadby and Wigston Ladies away in the charity friendly fixture which raised a fantastic total of £243. The game proved to be a great show of sportsmanship from both teams, with the charity coming off the winner in the end.
Both clubs passed on their thanks to all of the supporters and players from both teams who contributed to the final amount raised.
