IT PROVED to be a case of Déjà vu for Rugby Town Girls’ Under-16s after they were crowned winners of the League Cup for the second successive year.
Rugby beat Cosby 2-0 in the final to finish the 2014/1 season unbeaten at home in both the league and cup.
After creating several notable openings it was a deep cross to the far post that was misjudged by the Cosby goalkeeper to give Rugby a deserved lead.
A second goal came after the break to effectively end the game with Rugby playing out the remaining 20 minutes comfortably to lift the cup.
