Rugby Lions looking to progress in junior competition

Rugby Editorial 4th Feb, 2015 Updated: 27th Oct, 2016

BEATEN finalists in last year’s RFU Junior Vase competition Rugby Lions will have home advantage in this season’s Midlands final.

Rugby, who were beaten by Longlevens at Twickenham Stadium last May, reached the regional final and the last eight nationally by beating Sileby Town 48-3.

They will now host either Cleobury Mortimer, a previous national runner-up, or Evesham in the Midlands final which will be played on either March 14 or 15.

Rugby will be hoping to progress once again to the National finals which will be staged at Twickenham Stadium on May 3.
