FOOTBALL: RUGBY’S newest senior football team will compete in the Everards Leicestershire Senior League this season.
Rugby Borough FC announced the news after several weeks of speculation as to where the new team will play.
This week the club will host its first training session for the new team at Kilsby Lane from 7pm, all players are welcome to train but must contact the club beforehand.
Team manager Darran Tank said: “The Everards League will put us against a lot of teams that are unknown to us locally, and we see that as a great challenge as well as an opportunity for some fresh football.
“Our management team also continues to grow with the addition of Danny Finlay.
“His experience local knowledge will be a great asset.”
