They hope to make amends against North Notts on Saturday (12.15pm).
REWHC men’s first team were held 1-1 by Loughborough Town in a friendly, rescuing a draw thanks to Jacob Till – who was well placed to finish on the rebound following a penalty corner.
The men’s second XI found more success in their warm-up fixture against Loughborough Carillion, running out 7-2 winners.
Szymon Oszyjczyk was a man possessed with four goals to his name, whilst Paddy Parfitt, Ben Hardy and Joe Manning also registered on the scoresheet after recovering from an early Loughborough goal.
