RUGBY Borough started the year with back-to-back derby defeats after losing 2-0 at home against bottom club Bedworth United.

Goals from Bryan Kohyrelon and Samson Hewett after the break condemned Borough to defeat at Kilsby Lane while Bedworth also had George Dunkley sent off late on.

The result means Borough sit 14th in the Northern Premier League Midlands table, six points clear of the relegation zone.

Rugby are next in action against Coleshill Town on Saturday, January 24 with kick-off at 3pm at Pack Meadow.
