DAVID Kolodynski’s first Rugby Borough goal sent the club into the FA Vase third round following a stunning come-from-behind 3-2 win against Skegness Town.
Kolodynski struck two minutes from time to complete a remarkable comeback after Borough trailed by two goals at the break at Kilsby Lane.
However, Danny Fraser’s penalty and Antonio Cristofaro’s free-kick restored parity before Kolodynski netted his first goal for the club to send Borough into the next round.
The third round draw takes place on Monday, November 11 at 1pm.
Skegness took the lead on 14 minutes as Billy Bradley put the United Counties League Premier Division North side ahead.
And Rio Molyneux’s goal on 35 minutes left the home side with a mountain to climb at the interval.
However, Fraser halved the deficit after the break from the penalty spot after Kolodynski drew a foul in the box.
And Cristofaro’s free-kick then slipped through the hands of Skegness goalkeeper Caleb Pipes-Goulsbra to bring Rugby level.
Kolodynski had a goal ruled out for offside later in the half before he turned home Gez McGahey’s cross two minutes from time to complete a stunning turnaround.
Rugby are next in action against Godmanchester Rovers on Saturday, November 16 with kick-off at 3pm at Bearscroft Lane.
