FANS of good old fashioned vinyl will be in their element at Rugby Record Fair on Saturday November 8.
The fair is moving to a new home at the town’s Benn Hall, and those who like the feel and sound of vinyl will find plenty to bring a smile to their face.
Organiser Karen Johnson said: “We’ve been hearing about the death of vinyl for years now. First it was the cassette, then the CD, then downloading – but it won’t die.
“There is an increasing demand for vinyl. As well as giving a warmer sound that many music fans prefer, I think many people also still like the feeling of holding a record in their hand.”
The fair – which will also have CDs and music memorabilia from just about every genre on offer – runs from 10am to 4pm and admission is free.
