VANDALISM struck a Brownsover park for the second time this year when a new sign was ripped down.
A concerned resident who lives near Criss-Cross Park, off Newton Manor Lane, said it was a shame for all those who visit the park.
The resident, who did not wish to be named, said: “We have seen these individuals time and time again destroying areas of the park and vandalising the park area.
“I know so many living near the park like myself, and those who use the park as a cut through to other parts of Brownsover, will be shocked to see the damage.”
In March, the Observer reported the same park was vandalised when newly planted trees were damaged only days after they were planted by pupils from Brownsover School.
