Two charged with imitation firearm offences following town centre incident

TWO people have been charged with imitation firearm offences following an incident Market Place on Wednesday afternoon (November 17).

Armed police responded to a report of a man with a firearm in Market Place at 2pm.

Karmarni Bailey and Richelle Rodgers were both arrested at the scene.

Bailey, 21, of Clough Close, was charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, affray and common assault.




Rodgers, 23, also of Clough Close, was charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and assisting an offender.

Another man, Darren Farrell, 18, of New Street, was charged with affray.


Bailey has been remanded to appear at Warwick Crown Court on December 23.

Rodgers and Farrell will appear in court on January 14.
