SINGER Luciee Closier who made it through to the final stage of BBC One show The Voice has been added to the bill of August’s Rugby Music Festival.
The 17-year-old – hailed as a star of the future after she earned a place in Team Ricky – will play a short set on the main stage before appearing on the marquee stage later in the day with a full set.
Her appearance comes ahead of a tour and the release of an album later this year.
She is one of 24 acts booked for the festival , which this year is moving from Caldecott Park to Whitehall Rec and expanding to include two stages and a licensed bar – making it the largest live music gig ever in the town.
The festival is free of charge and ticketless, but there will be charity collections on the day. A list of bands is online at rugbymusicfestival.org.uk.
