The Voice contestant booked to appear at Rugby Music Festival

SINGER Luciee Closier who made it through to the final stage of BBC One show The Voice has been added to the bill of August’s Rugby Music Festival.

The 17-year-old – hailed as a star of the future after she earned a place in Team Ricky – will play a short set on the main stage before appearing on the marquee stage later in the day with a full set.

Her appearance comes ahead of a tour and the release of an album later this year.

She is one of 24 acts booked for the festival , which this year is moving from Caldecott Park to Whitehall Rec and expanding to include two stages and a licensed bar – making it the largest live music gig ever in the town.

The festival is free of charge and ticketless, but there will be charity collections on the day. A list of bands is online at
