THE town centre was awash with red, white and blue for its annual St George’s Day celebrations.
Our patron saint arrived on his horse greeted by hundreds of people who turned out for a day of celebration under clear blue skies.
The Play Café on High Street was chosen as the winner of a window dressing competition judged by Mayor Tony Gillias – who himself was dressed at St George.
Patrick Weir, Rugby First’s operation manager, said: “This was our first event of the year and it was a resounding success.”
