ALL eyes were on Rugby’s Specsavers branch as it marked its 25th anniversary.
Mayor Ramesh Srivastava was the special guest last Friday at the shop in the Clock Tower Shopping Centre.
To mark the quarter of a century milestone, the store donated £1 from every eye examination carried out between July 26 and August 2 to its nominated local charity Brooke School. More than £300 was raised over the course of the week.
“We were honoured to have the Mayor and Mayoress join us on Friday to celebrate this special occasion,” said store director Bhavna Hughes.
“It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years, and I’d like to say a big thank you to all the team and our loyal customers for their support over this time. We’re now looking ahead to the next 25.”
