Have your say on Rugby's cultural attractions

Rugby Editorial 26th Mar, 2016 Updated: 27th Oct, 2016   0

RESIDENTS are invited to help shape future events in Rugby by sharing their views on the attractions the town has to offer.

The Rugby Culture Survey aims to help the council develop a clear picture of the interests of residents – guiding them to new ways to boost cultural interest in the town.

The results will go towards shaping new programmes and events at the Benn Hall and Rugby Art Gallery and Museum – and also help to find new ways to attract more culture-vultures to the town.

Everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw – with one lucky winner receiving a £50 high street shopping voucher.

The survey can be completed online at www.ragm.co.uk and www.bennhall.com – or copies of the survey can be picked up at the art gallery and museum.

Council culture spokeswoman Coun Heather Timms said: “The Rugby Culture Survey aims to lay the foundations for a new strategy for the council’s cultural venues, helping us to deliver events, exhibitions and activities which meet the needs of our residents.

“I encourage anyone with an interest in the arts and heritage to take the time to complete the survey.”

Surveys must be completed by April 1 to secure entry to the prize draw.
