SANTA Claus is coming to town!
Local charity Rugby Rokeby Lions Club’s annual Christmas Float will be touring the town throughout December, helmed by Father Christmas himself.
The fundraising float will visit Sainsbury’s Dunchurch Road superstore on December 6 and 7; Tesco’s Leicester Road store on December 13 and 14; and Asda on December 20, 21, 23 and 24.
It will also tour the following neighbourhoods:
December 3: Wood St to Kimberley Rd
December 4: Bridget St to Jubilee St
December 5: Paddox (Fisher Ave to Sidney Rd)
December 6: Painters Estate (Lower St to Watts Ln)
December 9: Oxford St to Grosvenor Rd
December 10: Paddox (Catesby Rd to Boundary Rd)
December 11: Eastlands (Eastland Road to Townsend Road)
December 12: Admirals (May Ln to Hardy Cl)
December 13: Woodlands (Cymbeline Wy to Plantagenet Dv)
December 16: Shakespeare Gardens (Shakespeare Gdns to Tennyson Ave)
December 17: Admirals (Mulberry Cl to Pear Tree Way)
December 18: Abbott’s Farm (Abbott’s Way to Vere Rd)
December 19: Overslade (Buchanan Rd to St Anne’s Rd)
December 20: Stretton-on-Dunsmore and Wolston
December 24: Rokeby (Kingsway to Dunchurch Road)
