Rugby Police seek witnesses after teenager stabbed in broad daylight

A TEENAGER was stabbed in Rugby this afternoon (Wednesday November 17).

Paramedics found a 17-year-old with stab wounds to his stomach in Technology Drive at around 1.10pm.

He was taken to hospital for treatment with injuries described as serious but not life-threatening.

Cordons are currently in place so a forensic examination can be carried out. Detectives from Rugby CID are continuing enquiries into the incident.




Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information which could assist the investigation is asked to contact Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident 183 of November 17. Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
