PRISON awaits a Rugby man after he was found guilty of wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Triston Dickens, 30, was sentenced to two years in prison yesterday (Tuesday November 21) at Warwick Crown Court after pleading guilty to the charge.
His conviction follows an investigation into an assault which happened in High Street in the early hours of Sunday April 30 and resulted in a man in his 20s suffering fractures to his leg that required surgery.
DC Gary Hammond of Rugby Offender Manager Unit said: “We welcome the result and sentencing and hope that the victim feels some sense of closure after their ordeal.
“Dickens was identified as a suspect and subsequently charged after his image was released in the local media and I am satisfied that he is now facing a lengthy time in prison for his actions.”
