A FIRE raged for three hours at a scrapyard in Newbold Road in the early hours of the morning (Wednesday).
A number of 999 calls were made at around 3am to report the fire, which resulted in the temporary closure of Newbold Road at the Avon Mill roundabout.
Three fire engines attended to combat the blaze, believed to have started from a tractor trailer unit.
Crews are re-attending this morning to ensure the fire is completely out.
