DRAYCOTE Water will be hosting a series of free trails over the summer holidays.
Running from July 21 to September 3, the family trails will combine activities with education focusing on nature, a scavenger hunt, and site owners Severn Trent’s Fantastic Fun Facts.
On the Nature Trail, children can learn about nature’s heroes by following the trail and finding clues to complete a crossword.
The Scavenger Hunt challenges kids to find 10 things from the trail sheet and create their own wild art.
And Severn Trent Fantastic Fun Facts is a trail to test their knowledge and learn facts about water and pipes.
Severn Trent Visitor Engagement Manager Donna Marshall said: “Many of us know how difficult it can be to find low-cost and affordable things to do to keep kids entertained during the summer holidays and this is why this year we are running free trails for families at our visitor sites.
“There are loads of things to do at our sites alongside the trails, including walks, playgrounds, activities and more.”
Aside from the cost of parking, the events are free, and families can collect activity sheets for each trail from the on-site visitor centre.
The Scavenger Hunt runs from July 21 to August 3, the Fun Facts trail from August 4 to 17, and the Nature Trail from August 18 to September 3.
