CROSS-country runners at Paddox Primary School will shine bright thanks to a donation of reflective vests from a local housebuilder.
David Wilson Homes gave the Fareham Avenue school 35 hi-vis vests for members of its Cross-Country Club to wear while completing their long-distance runs in and around the school’s grounds.
Gemma Knight, PE Teacher and Pupil Leadership Lead, said: “We have kindly been donated a large set of high visibility jackets for our pupils. These will be widely used to ensure the children are visible when they are running on the roads during cross-country club, and for our play-leaders at lunchtimes.”
Rachael Harrison, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes East Midlands, said: “It’s important for pupils to stay active and it’s our pleasure to help the staff members at the school in their efforts to encourage pupils to channel their physical education.”
