Police appeal for help to trace missing Rugby prisoner

POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to trace a man from Rugby wanted for recall to prison.

Jamie Baker has been recalled to prison by the probation service for breaking the terms of his licence following his release on Thursday July 2.

The 38 -year-old has served time in prison after being convicted of robbery and wounding at Coventry Crown Court in September 2006.

Investigating officer DS Gardner, from Warwickshire Police, said: “We are keen to trace Jamie Baker as soon as possible and would ask the public not to approach him if they see him, but to call police.




“Mr Baker has a number of connections to the Rugby and Nuneaton area”

“If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, we would urge you to contact us.”
