ONE of the original members of Rugby beat group Pinkerton’s Colours is set to talk about his life in the music industry.
Tom Long will appear at the Coventry Music Museum on Saturday, June 14.
The band had a huge hit in the 1960s with their song Mirror, Mirror, and, according to museum curator Pete Chambers, Mr Long is never stuck for words and has a great memory.
Also due to appear at the latest in the museum’s Sounding Off events is Bollywood star Taz Singh this Saturday and the former lead guitarist with The Specials Roddy Radiation on June 21.
All events start at noon at the museum in The 2-Tone Village on Walsgrave Road in the city, and normal entry fees apply.
Mr Chambers said: “These have become epic events, people love to be part of these intimate gatherings.
“I’m so pleased the museum is not just a box full of curios, these events expand our agenda and tell the Coventry music story in a very real and first-hand way.”
