MARMALADE sandwiches at the ready – Paddington is coming to Rugby for a summer holiday adventure.
Paddington Bear will be guiding children on a global-themed hunt around the town centre during the school holidays.
Beginning at Hunt’s Bookshop, participants will ‘travel around the world’ through different shops, solving clues, completing activities and collecting stamps before returning to the bookshop to collect a prize.
Paddington himself will be somewhere along the trail for fans to meet for a chat and a photo.
The free trail is organised by Rugby First in partnership with Hunt’s Bookshop.
Rugby First Business Director Linda Lowne said: “We are really excited that Paddington Bear will be coming to Rugby town centre this summer. The trail and storytelling are a great way to bring families into the town while at the same time supporting and raising awareness of what Rugby town centre has to offer.”
The trail takes place from 9.30am to 3pm each day until August 31, excluding Sundays and the Bank Holiday. It takes between one and two hours to complete and is suitable for children aged between five and eight.
