Opera and concert to be staged in Rugby this weekend

A LIVE performance of Weber’s romantic opera Der Freischütz takes place at Rugby School’s Temple Speech Room on Saturday (April 9).

The Rugby-based Random Opera Company performance is led by Philip Clieve, an Associate Artist at the National Opera Studio, who has just completed a series of residencies with English National Opera, Welsh National Opera and Scottish Opera.

A CONCERT and a cream tea is on offer at a town centre church this weekend.




The Cream Tea Concert Series takes place at St Andrew’s Church on Sunday (April 10) at 4pm.

It will feature the Choir of St Andrew’s Parish Church, conducted by Dr Richard Dunster-Sigtermans.
