BUSINESSES in Rugby town centre can take advantage of a free money-saving scheme to help them recover from the pandemic.
Rugby First’s Business Savings Programme aims to help businesses identify savings on core costs such as gas, water, electricity, telecommunications, insurance, pest control and merchant fees.
The new service, offered to levy-paying town centre businesses, will be launched on Friday (February 4), at Rugby Central, between 10am and 4pm, in partnership with Place Support Partnership Ltd.
Rugby First’s Operations Director Jo Kemp said: “As we are all fully aware, it has been extremely difficult and challenging for town centre businesses throughout the pandemic. This free programme has been rolled-out in other areas of the country and proved to be very effective and well received by businesses in those areas, which is why we are introducing it in Rugby.”
She said the scheme would also help businesses reduce their carbon footprint and become more environmentally friendly through green supplier options.
She added: “Over the next few weeks, Place Support Partnership Ltd (PSP) will be contacting businesses to gauge their interest in getting involved with this free service. From there they will work with those businesses to identify ways to save them money and recommend how best to realise those savings.
“PSP will be in Rugby Central on February 4, and we would encourage any businesses interested in finding out more to drop by or get in touch with Rugby First.”
