A SITE manager has received a prestigious National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Quality Award for a development in Rugby.
Vincent Price received the award for excellence in on-site management at Redrow Midlands’ Redrow at Houlton, on Link Road.
Vincent joined Redrow in 1997 as a trainee assistant manager, bringing with him nearly 12 years of experience as a plumbing and heating engineer. He worked his way up the ranks and became a Project Manager, earning five NHBC awards in the processs between 2013 and 2017.
Vincent said: “The past 18 months have been incredibly challenging for everyone, so winning this award, especially for the sixth time, feels extra special.
“There’s nothing quite like handing over a high-quality family home which surpasses the customer’s expectations, and watching communities thrive in the environments we create. This isn’t just an individual award to me; it’s a true testament to the whole team’s hard work and dedication.”
In existence for more than 40 years, the NHBC’s Pride in the Job scheme recognises the industry’s best performers. To receive an award, site managers must score highly in all areas of build and site management including quality of workmanship, technical expertise, health and safety and leadership.
Elaine Cartwright, Sales Director for Redrow Midlands, said: “Vincent’s passion and determination is reflected in every home built at our Redrow at Houlton development, and we’re thrilled that his hard work has been recognised by the NHBC.
“The Pride in the Job Award is something all site managers want to win, so to receive his sixth really is a wonderful achievement and thoroughly deserved – well done Vincent.”
