Hit-and-run driver sought after pedestrian in his 70s injured in collision

A HIT-and run collision in Dunchurch on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon left a pedestrian in his 70s with injuries.

A silver Vauxhall Astra collided with the man near the Dun Cow pub on Monday (August 30) at around 1pm.

He was taken to hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.

The Astra is understood to have left the scene.

Anyone who saw the incident or has information that could help with the police investigation is asked to report it online at or call 101 quoting incident number 161 of August 30.
