Hats off to Amazon staff for Brain Tumour Support donation

Rugby Editorial 12th Jun, 2022   0

A SUPPORT group for people diagnosed with a brain tumour has received a donation of £500 from Amazon’s Rugby fulfilment centre.

Brain Tumour Support works with people in Rugby and across the UK who have been affected by a brain tumour by supporting patients, families and friends and offering one-to-one guidance.

To mark the donation, the Amazon team donned hats of all shapes and sizes, a symbol of brain tumour charity fundraising.

Site Leader Gayner Coulson said: “Brain Tumour Support is an incredible charity that does amazing work in our community. We are pleased to provide this donation to help support the charity’s efforts.”

Jen Coton, Fundraising Manager from Brain Tumour Support, added: “I would like to thank Gayner and the team at Amazon in Rugby for this donation. Many individuals across the UK are impacted by brain tumours and donations like this allow us to continue to provide much needed support for those affected in our community and beyond.”

Brain Tumour Support received the donation as part of Amazon’s programme to support the communities in and around its operating locations throughout the UK.
