THE HALLOWEEN hunt is on in Rugby town centre.
Hunt’s Bookshop, in partnership with other town centre businesses and Rugby First, is launching a Halloween Trail around the town centre on Saturday (October 21).
The free self-guided trail, suitable for three to 11-year-olds, starts and finishes at the High Street bookshop. Participants will follow a trail of town centre businesses where they will receive a trick or a treat, before returning to Hunt’s to receive their prize.
Children are also being encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes, with prizes for the best dressed.
Christopher Hunt, from Hunt’s Bookshop said: “Previous trails we have organised have proved extremely popular, and led to increased footfall, awareness and sales for all those businesses involved.
“As part of the trail we are encouraging children and families to dress up, so this will provide some spooky fun to the town centre over this period.”
The trail will run from October 21 to November 4, Monday to Saturday, from 9.30am to 4pm. It will take one to two hours to complete. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Draycote Water is also hosting a Halloween Trail.
Visitors can buy a trail map from the Severn Trent visitor centre and find the clues hidden in Halloween scenes around the reservoir to win a tasty prize.
The trail runs from Saturday October 28 to Sunday November 5, from 10am-3pm. Fancy dress is encouraged.
