GREEN-fingered residents at a Rugby care home brightened up their gardens during National Gardening Week.
Overslade House hosted a garden party in its grounds to celebrate the nation’s love of gardening.
Residents planted colourful seasonal flowers, and created their own hanging baskets to go on display in the gardens.
The care home’s manager Violeta Baesu said: “Our garden is a much loved space at our home, and residents really enjoy the peaceful green spaces in the summer when the flowers are in bloom.
“Our gardening team made up of staff and residents work overtime to get our garden beautiful for the summer to enjoy the wonderful colours and fragrances the garden provides.”
