FOUR people were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Rugby last week.
Two people were arrested on Tuesday (March 16) on suspicion of drugs supply offences after plain clothed officers witnessed a suspected drug deal in Albert Street at around 2.15pm.
A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
A vehicle was later stopped on the A45 near Tollbar Island in connection with the incident.
Cash was seized and a 20-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Both have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
A 17-year-old boy from London was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, in connection with a separate incident near Millersdale Croft in Brownsover at around 2.10pm on Wednesday (March 17).
A 36-year-old woman from Rugby was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. She has been released under investigation.
