MORE arrests have been made in an ongoing police crackdown on ‘county lines’ drug gangs.
Two men, aged 29 and 18, were arrested under suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs after a large quantity of cash, evidence of drug dealing and suspected class A drugs were found at a property in Morris Close on Thursday July 11.
And on Thursday July 18, a 20-year-old man and a 23-year-old man from Birmingham were arrested in a vehicle on Craven Road suspected of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. A search of the vehicle and the suspects revealed a quantity of suspected Class A Drugs, cash and evidence of drug dealing.
Both investigations are ongoing.
Drug-related offences in Warwickshire dropped by 14 per cent in 2018 when the county’s police force began the crackdown on county lines gangs – which transport drugs from bigger cities into smaller towns.
