Former Rugby man wanted on suspicion of burglary

Rugby Editorial 9th Jul, 2015 Updated: 27th Oct, 2016   0

A SUSPECTED burglar is being sought by police.

Mariusz Sleczka, aged 29 formerly of Rowland Street, Rugby is wanted on suspicion of both burglary and breaching a court order.

He has been wanted on warrant since June 2014, after failing to comply with the requirements of a community order for unpaid work. This order was given to him in September 2013, when he was convicted of battery.

Since then, he is suspected of committing a burglary at a home in Rugby in May 2015. During this burglary a substantial amount of damage was caused when a copper heating system was stolen.

Officers have been carrying out enquiries to locate Mariusz and are now appealing for the public’s help, and information from anyone who may have seen him.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101. Alternatively contact the independent charity crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111 or visiting the website.
