Fashion show raises hundreds for century-old youth club

MODELS from Rugby strutted their stuff on the catwalk to raise £800 for the town’s century-old youth club.

The Bradby Club hosted a Ladies’ Fashion Show and Shopping Event to help the club continue its work supporting vulnerable young people with activities and informal education.

Attendees picked up bargains from famous fashion brands, enjoyed refreshments, and took part in a raffle.

Club Trustee Alison Ross said: “We are so grateful to all the people who attended our fashion show, helping to raise over £800 for the Bradby Club.

“Our guests enjoyed tea or coffee and cake prior to the show and then watched the models displaying some of the clothes provided by SOS Charity Fashion Shows, who ran the event. Guests were then able to select any clothes they liked and purchase them.

“We also must thank one of the Young Carers, Karishma, who created a really beautiful cake and also @karishmatikreations for donating all the ingredients for her to make it.

“She is currently raising money by sponsorship to allow her to travel with a group from her school on a Challenge Africa trip.”
