A DOG has been stolen from kennels near Lutterworth.

A three-year-old cockapoo called Logan was stolen from kennels in Station Road, North Kilworth at some point between midnight and 6.30am on Friday February 12, after thieves forced entry via a neighbouring farm.

The dog, who has been microchipped, was last seen wearing an orange collar with a blue acrylic tag which had the owner’s details written on it.

PC Hayley Stokes said: “We are carrying out investigations to try and find Logan.

“This has been a very distressing incident for his owner and we are eager to speak to anyone with information.

“We believe Logan may be being kept locally and urge anyone who may have seen him to contact us.”

Anyone with any information is asked to call Leicestershire Police on 101 quoting reference 21*86518.
