GET an ‘Eiffel’ of these intrepid cyclists who raised thousands for two schools in Zambia.
Robert Eggleston, landlord of Lutterworth’s Greyhound Coaching Inn, was joined by son Richard and daughter Lara for a 320-mile ride from London to Paris this month, raising over £3,000 for the U Foundation charity.
They were among 20 participants who raised a staggering £20,000 for the charity, which raises money for overseas education projects in developing countries, particularly rural African communities.
