A TASK group of Rugby Borough councillors will be talking to Christmas shoppers this weekend to find out how the council could tackle nuisance behaviour.
Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) are already in force in Rugby to deal with street drinking and dog fouling, but now the task group want to know if there are other behaviours they could address – such as camping on public spaces, motor cycling or horse riding on public footpaths, or drinking and smoking near children’s play areas.
Councillors from the task group will be on Chapel Street near Costa Coffee on Saturday (December 9) between 11am and 1pm.
