CLASS A drugs have been seized as part of an ongoing crackdown on ‘county lines’ drug gangs.
Two men ages 17 and 47 were found with a large quantity of suspected class A drugs in Alfred Green Close on Monday July 1, and were arrested for possession with intent to supply.
A 38-year-old man was arrested in Ashlawn Road for possession with intent to supply on Tuesday July 9. A subsequent search of a property on Lever Road revealed a large quantity of cash and suspected Class A drugs.
Both investigations are ongoing.
Drug-related offences in Warwickshire dropped by 14 per cent in 2018 when the county’s police force began the crackdown on county lines gangs – which transport drugs from bigger cities into smaller towns.
