A BLIND dog has found his ‘fur-ever’ home after his plight was highlighted in The Observer.
Lakeland Terrier cross Andy was taken into Rugby-based Pawprints Dog Rescue several months ago when he had already lost his sight, but due to being in a lot of pain he had to undergo surgery to remove both his eyes.
Now the five year-old dog has fully healed and found love in a Daventry home.
His new owner – who did not wish to be named – read about Andy in The Observer and contacted Pawprints Dog Rescue in Rugby to offer him a home.
Volunteers for the charity – which saves dogs from death row in council pounds – were delighted the sweet-natured pup had finally found a family.
