WARWICKSHIRE Hospital has celebrated its 40th anniversary.
The private hospital, which is ran by Nuffield Health, opened on May 10 1981.
And 40 years on its staff celebrated the milestone with cakes, a free lunch and quizzes.
Hospital director Tim Shrebridge said: “The 40th anniversary of the hospital opening represents a milestone in the history of Nuffield Health and the community it serves.
“Today, the high quality of care and the friendly atmosphere are comparable to the days when the doors first opened, but the procedures and services that we now offer, including MRI Scans and digital imaging illustrate how far healthcare has progressed in 40 years.
“We were unable to celebrate in the same way we did for our 30th birthday, though we wanted to do something to mark the occasion and to show our appreciation to all of our hard-working colleagues, particularly during the last 12 months.”
