RUGBY Borough missed the chance to move top of the table following a 1-1 draw on the road at Shepshed Dynamo.
Borough came from behind to earn a point as Oran Jackson’s header cancelled out Jack Rogers’ opener at the Dovecote Stadium.
The result means Rugby sit second in the Northern Premier League Midlands table, one point behind leaders Coventry Sphinx who have a game in-hand.
Dynamo broke the deadlock on 16 minutes when Rogers drove a shot past Brandon Ganley in the Borough goal.
However, the visitors equalised on 52 minutes as Jackson powered home Will Grocott’s floated free-kick at the back post.
Rugby are next in action against Coleshill Town on Saturday, September 27 with kick-off at 3pm at Kilsby Lane.
