RUGBY’S Spring Fair is coming to town for the first time since the pandemic.
The event will take place on Bank Holiday Monday (May 5) at Whitehall Recreation Ground.
Organised jointly by Rugby’s three Rotary Clubs in Rugby, Rugby Heritage Lions Club, Rugby Round Table and 41 Clubs, the fair will raise funds for local charities and good causes.
Over 50 local charities and businesses will host stalls, and a Kids’ Zone will feature Wolly the Clown and a ‘Big Bounce House’.
Arena entertainment comes from local performance groups and musicians, introduced by BBC CWR radio presenter Dan Sambell and entertainment promotor David Head.
Dog owners can show off their pooches at a ‘fun’ dog show, and the Stokes Fun Fair will provide thrills and spills.
A range of food outlets and a bar will provide refreshments all day.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: “We are going to be celebrating 80 years since the end of the Second World War, so lots of red, white and blue, dressing up and plenty of bunting – and we’d like you to join us.”
