A LIFE-saving charity is hosting a fund-raising Christmas Carol Service at a Rugby church later this week to fund its vital work.

The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS) is asking supporters to attend the concert at St Andrew’s Church to help keep its missions airborne.

The evening will include a performances from St Marie’s Junior School, former Rugby’s Got Talent winner Paul Sammon, and Madison Matthews who will perform a variety of Christmas songs.

There will also be two tombolas, refreshments including mulled wine, and an In Memory stall selling candles and baubles to remember and display the names of loved ones.

Also in attendance on the evening will be the High Sheriff of Warwickshire, Rajvinder Kaur Gill and Mayor Simon Ward.

Amy Worthington, Legacies and In Memory Executive for the charity, said: “Please join us to spread Christmas cheer and to honour those you have loved and lost at our Christmas Carol Service.

“Together with your support we can help to make further life-saving missions possible in Warwickshire and further afield.”

TAAS operates the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and the Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland Air Ambulance, with both services providing pre-hospital critical care at a range of incidents 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The Christmas Carol Service will take place on Friday (December 13) at St Andrew’s Church from 6-8pm.
