DAVID Kolodynski scored a brace as Rugby Borough eased to a 3-0 victory against 10-man Yaxley.
Kolodynski started and completed the scoring while Rio Henson also found the net for Borough at Kilsby Lane.
After Kolodynski opened the scoring, Yaxley had Lil Francisco sent off early in the second half following a strong challenge on Rugby’s Danny Fraser.
The result means Borough sit third in the United Counties League Premier Division South table, seven points behind leaders St Neots Town with two games in-hand.
After Yaxley made a strong start, Rugby eventually broke the deadlock against the run of play on 36 minutes.
And Francisco then received a straight red card on 55 minutes to leave the visitors down to 10-men for the majority of the second half.
Henson doubled Borough’s lead on 72 minutes before Kolodynski sealed the points when he tapped Henson’s cross into the bottom left corner.
Rugby are next in action against Leicester Nirvana on Saturday, November 30 with kick-off at 3pm at Hamilton Park.
