At Bilton School, 60 per cent of students attained at least a grade 4 standard pass in both Maths and English.
Notable successes include Lauren Barber (two Grade 9s, three Grade 8s, one Grade 7, one Grade 6 and one Distinction*), Shana Mbuo (one Grade 9, four Grade 8s, two Grade 7s and one Distinction), Amy Broadhurst (two Grade 8s, five Grade 7s and one Distinction*), Lily-Mae Harrison (three Grade 9s, one Grade 8, one Grade 6 and one Distinction*), Amber O’Callaghan (two Grade 9s, one Grade 8, one Grade 7, three Grade 6s and one Distinction), Dhriti Varnika Bandura (one Grade 9, three Grade 8s and two Grade 7s), and Hazel Protor (one Grade 8, five Grade 7s and one Distinction*).
Headteacher Jayne Delves said: “We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students’ achievements. These young people have experienced and overcome challenges during their secondary school education.
“As an inclusive school we have welcomed refugees into our Bilton community, and these students have made excellent progress attaining average grades of grade 7.
“We are so pleased to share all our students’ journeys forwards onto the next steps, where I am sure they will be equally successful.
