RUGBY Borough stretched their lead at the top of the table to five points following a 4-1 win at Northampton Sileby Rangers.
A brace from Cyrus Bruce and further goals from Gerard McGahey and Danny Fraser sealed a comfortable victory at Fernie Field.
The result means Borough lead the United Counties League Premier Division South table by five points.
Sileby took the lead after just three minutes when Giuseppe Freitas forced the ball home following a scramble in the box.
However, Rugby equalised on 19 minutes as Bruce smashed home Antonio Cristofaro’s cross.
And Borough completed the turnaround when McGahey headed in Fraser’s cross to send the visitors into the break with a narrow lead.
Borough put the game to bed after the break as Bruce scored his second of the game before Fraser completed the scoring in style to secure a fine win.
Rugby Borough are next in action against Gresley Rovers in the FA Vase on Saturday, August 24 with kick-off at 3pm at Kilsby Lane.
