A RUGBY man has today (Monday July 10) been charged with three driving offences and a drug offence.
Daniel Green, 38, of Murray Road, was charged with fraud for allegedly displaying false number plates, possession of cannabis with intent to supply, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.
The charges follow an incident in which the driver of a van who was alleged to be disqualified from driving and to have had no insurance was arrested in Long Lawford.
Cannabis was reported to have been recovered from a second vehicle belonging to the driver, which was also allegedly displaying false plates.
Mr Green’s first hearing is at Coventry Magistrates Court today.
