RESULTS

REWHC Ladies 1st 0-4 Belper

A difficult game for Rugby saw Rebecca Howitt earn player of the match for her efforts in goal.

REWHC Ladies 2nd 4-1 Towcester 2nd

A pair of goals to Jess Naylor as well as goals to Laura Harris and Lucy Gribben saw Rugby take sole possession of top of the league.

REWHC Ladies 4th 10-1 Towcester 4th

Goals to Jess, Sophie, Alice (2), Anne Marie and Anna (2) whilst Ruby earned a hattricksaw Rugby well clear of Towcester with player of the match shared between Sophie and Alice.

REWHC Ladies Academy 10-0 Oundle 2nd

Four goals to Eve, a pair each to Harriett and Catherine with the final goals coming to Sharron and Sue saw Rugby comfortably ahead of Oundle.

REWHC Men’s 1st 4-1 Loughborough Uni 2nd

Two goals to man of the match Oli Thomas as well as a goal apiece to Adam Hewitt and Andy Walker capped off a fantastic performance from Rugby.

REWHC Men’s 2nd 3-4 Atherstone 1st

A pair of goals to man of the match Harry Clarke and a third to Chris Graham was not enough to see Rugby over the set pieces of Atherstone as they narrowly missed out on the comeback from 4-1 down.

REWHC Men’s 3rd 3-6 Loughborough Uni 5th

Two goals to man of the match Mat Nobes and a penalty corner finish to Alex Salter were not enough as the game slipped away from Rugby’s reach against a well drilled Loughborough side.

REWHC Men’s 5th 1-1 Hampton 3rd

A penalty corner deflection from Billy saw Rugby come away with a tie to Hampton as debutant goalkeeper Fin earned man of the match.

REWHC Men’s 6th 2-1 Towcester 2nd

Nick Dowling and Ham scored for Rugby as Josh Gorbutt earned man of the match for some key saves in goal as Rugby narrowly defeated Towcester.
