Care home staff 'overwhelmed' by bouquets in thanks for their hard work

HARDWORKING staff at a Rugby care home were delighted to receive gift of flowers from the local branch of a logistics company.

Staff at Overslade House received bouquets of fresh flowers from the community engagement team at DHL Rugby.

The surprise act of kindness was arranged by DHL First Line Manager Trudie Seers and her colleague Sally, who decided send the flowers in thanks for the care home’s efforts in protecting and caring for members of the community.

The care home’s manager Violeta Baesu said: “We’ve had a year like no other, so this amazing gift of flowers – enough for every member of the team – has certainly brightened our day, and warmed our hearts. We cannot thank DHL Rugby enough for such a generous gift.”
