PAST members of a beloved youth club are invited to a reunion to help celebrate its centenary – and raise vital funds to help it stay open.
The Bradby Club Past Members’ Reunion takes place on Friday October 4 from 6-10pm at the club’s East Union Street HQ.
Club leader John Robertson said: “All with the best interests of the Bradby Club for Young People at heart are welcome.
“It’s been an amazing year of public support for one of the very oldest youth clubs in the whole country. The young people, the youth workers, the trustees and all the volunteers and supporters are so grateful for the celebrations, the fund-raising, and the statements of confidence in the future, when Bradby is needed as much as ever.”
Tickets, costing £10 each including a sausage and mash dinner, are available in advance by calling Rebecca Thomas on 01788 544344, emailing [email protected] or visiting the club.
Money raised will help the club’s ongoing appeal to fix structural defects at its dilapidated headquarters.
Years of neglect and a rise in vandalism at the venue have left the club facing closure unless it can raise £15,000 for repairs.
